KRIKELKRAKEL
Krikelkrakel is an experimental and abstract work displaying the expressive compression of lines which appeal on a spatial as well as on a temporal level. If immersion works the lines properly manage to hypnotize the viewer via superpositions and reflections while frequencies of the image become audible through seeing.

“Rabbitland Promotion Office” is part of a series of works by Ana Nedeljković, in which she is experimenting with the characters she had created, the Evil Girls and Brainless Rabbits, through various media and contexts, in order to discuss actual social issues.
The work is based on animated stopmotion film “Rabbitland”, directed by Ana Nedeljković and Nikola Majdak Jr. The film represents a dystopian world inhabited by Brainless Rabbits, who are absolutely happy and participate in free democratic elections which are organized by the Evil Girls and held daily.
The work is conceived as an installation in the gallery space, which ironically simulates the premises of the Office for Promotion of Rabbitland as an ideal democracy. It consists of the animated film, documentation on the filming process, plasticine and rag dolls, as well as of additional objects related to the narrative.
