Bloomers takes a lively view of the sewing room environment at Headen and Quarmby, a family run lingerie factory, which provides jobs for unemployed locals. The film combines an original score incorporating sounds of the sewing room and interviews with employees, with animation that remarkably has been created by printing drawings onto fabric.
