ANIMATED FILM – RESISTANCE – PSYCHOANALYSIS – EVENING II
Together with the Sigmund Freud Museum, we invite audiences to the second event in this year’s film series on animation and psychoanalysis on May 28, 2026. The series connects to the museum’s 2026 annual theme, "Resistance".
ANIMATION FILM EVENING AT THE MARIA LASSNIG ATELIER IN KLAGENFURT
On May 8, 2026, the Maria Lassnig Atelier in Klagenfurt will be transformed into a cinema showcasing previous winners of the Maria Lassnig Golden Film Reel. The animated films use experimental visual languages to open new artistic spaces and explore themes such as physicality, identity, relationships, and nature.

On April 16, together with the Sigmund Freud Museum, we open the film and discussion series accompanying the museum’s annual theme ‘Resistance’ with Tünde Nagy’s short film HOUSE ON THE SEA, followed by conversations with experts from psychoanalysis, literary studies, and film studies.
