Reaching through mundane activities to find some comfort and pleasure: These absurd, agile characters allow themselves to show their vulnerability through songs and choreography. The film encourages us all to find the human happiness ladder.

The main character inhabits her own memories up to a point of them changing the course of her present life. Evocative constructed environments and characters lure you into your own subconscious. The film questions what and who is real as a woman reconstructs her own psychological landscape.

For the representation of complex emotions in an extreme and challenging situation. Finding ways to contain difficult feelings to enable life to move forward and change. This film uses a delicate drawing style and metamorphosis to underpin the narrative.
