Czech and Slovak animated Heroines

Sat, 14. 3., 19:00

Presented in collaboration with the international animation journal Homo Felix and the Czech non-profit organization AniScreen, this screening focuses on the new powerful wave of Czech and Slovak women animators. Their work is full of interesting multi-layered female characters and is shown here in different animated forms such as music videos, narrative stories, funny etudes, symbolic essays or TV bedtime stories for children. The screening will be introduced by its curator, AniScreen founder Eliška Děcká, and followed by a Q&A.
