It’s decided! During the Award Ceremony on Sunday the Jury, Judith Gruber-Stitzer (Composer and Sound Designer, CA), Shelley Page (DreamWorks Animation, UK) and Adele Raczkövi (Artist, AT) announced the Winners of the Tricky Women 2012 competition.

Tricky Women Award of the City of Vienna (worth 4.000 Euro) for Marta Pajek with Snepowina/Sleepincord (PL 2011).

3-month scholarship to live and work at quartier21/MQ under the Artist-in-Residence Program for Andrea Schneider with „De Roni/Roni“ (CH 2011).

Synchro Film&Video-Material Prize (worth 1.500 €) for „Schreibmaschinerie“ (AT 2011) by Caro Estrada.

Special mentions: „¿Por Qué Desaparecieron Los Dinosaurios? / Why Did Dinosaurs Disappear?” (ES 2011) by Mar Delgado and Esaú Dharma, „Ámár“ (ES 2010) by Isabel Herguera and „Sizyi Golubochek / Sweetheart“ (RU 2010) by Ekaterina Sokolova.

Award for an Austrian Animation (worth 750 €), donated by Hubert Sielecki goes to „The Back Room“ (AT 2011) by Mirjam Baker and Michael Kren.

Tricky Women Audience Award, Accreditation for Tricky Women 2013 for „Le Silence Beneath The Bark / The Silence Beneath The Bark“ (FR 2010) by Joanna Lurie.
