Hochschule Luzern Design & Kunst

The Animation programme of HGK Lucerne combines both artistic and practical courses and helps students develop their own film language. Designed to promote excellent quality in cartoon animation, digital and analog 3D animation and experimental film, the programme also places great emphasis on good storytelling.About half of the films selected for Tricky Women 2008 are diploma or BA films. For the first time in the relatively short history of the Animation department this compilation comprises only works by female directors who, with one exception, have made their own stories into films.
The programme was compiled by Jochen Ehmann who is also going to present it at the festival.
